About Samia Learn

Knowledge as
an invitation.

Samia Learn is the education desk of Samia Studios. We make short lessons and longer explainers that anyone can watch for free, check for themselves and pass on. The first series opens in 2027. Until then, this page says what we are building and the rules we are building it under.

The templates

Six templates.
Every lesson.

Six templates, designed from the brand guide and still to be built: cream ground, Archivo headlines, the sun, the quarter circle, the ink line. The Map and The Number come first, built by hand before any lesson is rendered; the other four follow. Every lesson will be a sequence of these, closed by the same sign-off card, and nothing else will be drawn by a machine. The six thumbnails below are the designs.

The Map

A flat map. A river or a border draws itself, labels pop in. The Indus from Tibet to Karachi.

The Number

One huge numeral counts up, one line explains it. 1960: the year two rivals agreed to share six rivers.

The Timeline

A horizontal track with quarter-circle markers. The years slide by. Partition, treaty, Mangla, Tarbela.

How It Works

A diagram that builds piece by piece. How a dam stores a season of rain.

Myth / Fact

A split frame: red for the myth, blue for the fact. "The treaty runs out." It has no end date.

The Word

A word in Arabic or Urdu, large, in Amiri. Its root and what it came to mean. سندھ, Sindh: the river that named a province, a region and a country.

Who makes it

The people
who make it.

Samia Learn is a small desk inside a small house. There is no invented team to list here. When a lesson is real, its credits name who researched it, who checked it, who wrote it, who drew it and who read it, and that is the staff page.

Samia (سامية) means elevated, sublime. Samia Studios is a Jahangiri Enterprises company. The house's mission, standards and the long view are on samia.studio.

Corrections

If a lesson says something wrong, write to [email protected]. We check it, fix it, and log the correction on the lesson page with its date. The claim log is never edited quietly.
